Owe No Man Anything?
This verse in Romans 13 is commonly used as a teaching against Christians being in monetary debt. This teaching is fairly common, but one notable exception seems to be the largest debt one may ever incur, that of the mortgaging of a home. Interesting how that happens.

How about mortgaging a church assembly's building? It is almost funny because it is so absurd.
ReplyDeleteWould they argue that God provides his people's needs in the form of banks?? And banks that deal in unequal weights and measures on top of that!? Crazy.
