Believe it or not Steve, as a tree lover who makes a living in Horticultue this strategy makes all kinds of sense. It's isolating and starving out the bug. Like pandemic flu, quarenteen an area.
ReplyDeleteThe other option is to do nothing and all the ash trees in America die.
That's a bad thing.
So, destroying some to save many makes good sense.
